  There was a famous ruler named Sultan Mahmud and he had a slave Ayyaz. Sultan Mahmud loved Ayyaz very much because of his  great wisdom.  Assalamu'alaikum. Today I wanted to share with you a very beautiful story that I have once read years ago. It is a story of a mother, her little son and a shopkeeper. So, here it is. One day a boy and his mother went to a shop. The shopkeeper looked at the small cute child and showed him a bottle with sweets and said: Dear child, you can take the sweets. But the boy did not take. The shopkeeper was surprised how such a small boy he is and why he is not taking the sweets. The shopkeeper said again: take the sweets, son. But the boy did not take the sweets. Now his mother noticed and asked the boy: take the sweets, dear. Until now the boy refused to take the sweets.  Seeing that, the shopkeeper took the sweets and gave to the boy himself in which he surprisingly saw the boy accepted it and very  happy of getting his two hands full of sweets.
